Superhero

As the the act "Superhero" begins, the video on the large video screen onstage continues playing
uninterrupted from the previous act, "Hallow's Eve." It shows Joshua watching the end of "The Newscast" in his parent's bedroom and it's a little after 1:00 A.M. on Nov.16, 2018. Joshua is muttering unintelligibly to himself and shaking his head back and forth in disbelief. As soon as the newscast on the television goes to a commercial break, Joshua grabs one of his father's golf clubs in the room, yells out "Nooooooooo!," and smashes the television screen with the golf club. Following this, Joshua continues to shake his head saying "This can't be happening, this just can't be happening" repeatedly as he walks from his parents room to his bedroom. As soon as Joshua enters his room, he picks up one of his bass guitars that's leaning on his dresser, looks around his room, and starts to yell saying "It's happening just like they said it would, why didn't I listen to them, why, why, why, why!" Each time Joshua yells out "why," he slams the bass against his bedroom walls completely trashing his room but doesn't hit any of the superhero posters on his walls. When Joshua yells out the last "why," he slams his bass against the glass door leading to the rehearsal space and recording studio, releases it and glass flies all over cutting him on the hand. Shortly thereafter, Joshua looks upward with a look of total despair on his face and says "Why have you done this to me?" After this, Joshua sits down on the end of his bed and faces the large bedroom window, slumps over putting his hands over his face, shakes his head back and forth and then lifts his head backup. He reaches into his jacket pocket, takes out his heroin "rig," cooks up some heroin, draws it into a syringe and injects the heroin into his arm. However, he uses much more heroin this time with the intent to overdose and kill himself. As Joshua injects the heroin, he looks back at a photo of him and his twin sister Faith that's on the nightstand next to his bed and starts crying. Following this, Joshua begins to nod off from the heroin and the needle remains in his arm with blood running out from the injection site. Shortly thereafter, he brings his head up and then falls back on to the bed lying on his back. At this point, we have an overhead camera shot of the entire bedroom with Joshua lying on his bed with a needle in his arm. The camera slowly zooms in until only Joshua and his bed are seen on the screen. As this occurs, Joshua's breathing gets progressively more shallow. By the time the camera stops zooming in, Joshua is no longer breathing and his eyes roll up into his head. Immediately thereafter, his clinched fists relax and open up, and we see his mother's cross necklace in his hand. The cross is stained with blood from the cut he got when he broke the glass door with his guitar. Joshua is now dead and lies motionless on the bed. He has the bloody cross in one hand and the bloody needle in the opposite arm. Finally, we see a shadow cast over Joshua and the bed but the camera shot remains tight so you can't see who is at the foot of the bed.

Gabriel:  (Speaking loudly) Joshua get up, get up now!-(Immediately after Gabriel says "get up now," Joshua takes in a deep breath and his whole body convulses, his eyes open up, and he suddenly sits up looking dazed. At this point, the camera shot widens and we now see it's the angel Gabriel standing at the foot of the bed. During the time Joshua was dead, he was given a supernatural glimpse of both heaven and hell and Gabriel knows this. Gabriel smiles and continues speaking to Joshua) What did you see Joshua?

Joshua:  (In a daze, Joshua doesn't respond immediately but pulls out the needle that's still in his arm. Shortly thereafter, he responds to Gabriel still looking stunned and overwhelmed) I saw it all, heaven,..(He pauses, smiles briefly but that is replaced by a look of fear as he continues)...and hell.-(At this point, the sheer weight of what Joshua saw and experienced hits him, he stops talking and tears begin to well up in his eyes. Joshua is silent for a few seconds and stares blankly into space oblivious to his surroundings as he tries to process what he just experienced. Joshua continues to stare into space until Gabriel speaks to him once again.)

Gabriel:  Joshua (Upon hearing his name called out, Joshua focuses on Gabriel and wipes the tears from his eyes. Gabriel places his hand on Joshua's shoulder and smiles) It's all right. I would expect anyone to react as you have after what you just experienced. You died, crossed over and saw heaven and hell, and came back. Only one other person's ever done that.-(By this time, Joshua has managed to collect himself and stands up. Joshua is standing directly across from and facing Gabriel at the foot of his bed and we see both of their profiles in the large window in Joshua's bedroom.)

Joshua:  I knew it! I knew I wasn't seeing things! Who, what are you and what do you want from me?

Gabriel:  I brought the news to Mary that she was pregnant with the Christ-child, foretold the birth of John the Baptist and discussed these very times with the prophet Daniel.-(As Gabriel speaks, Joshua squints his eyes as he concentrates and tries to figure out who Gabriel is.)

Joshua:  Gabriel. (Gabriel nods yes, and Joshua shakes his head in amazement.)

Gabriel:  I've been sent here to bring you a message, that you will lead the church in these final days and your music...-(Gabriel is interrupted by Joshua.)

Joshua:  (With nervous laughter) Wait a minute, you got the wrong guy. I'm not ready to lead..(Gabriel cuts off Joshua.)

Gabriel:  (Angry) No Joshua!-(Gabriel says this so loud and forceful that it startles Joshua and actually knocks him backwards) You'll be reunited with Daniel and Saul and together you'll build and lead the underground and His church in these final days. Your music will be the catalyst that gives birth to a powerful revival the likes of which the world has never seen and you will preach the Gospel worldwide. But the road ahead will be fraught with peril and you'll face and battle the greatest evil the world's ever known as time runs out on a corrupt and wicked world. But none of this will come to pass unless you are born again. What more must you see to believe Joshua?-(As soon as Gabriel finishes the final sentence from the dialogue above, the camera shot changes from showing Gabriel and Joshua standing across from one another to looking directly at Joshua. At this point, the camera zooms in so we have a close-up of Joshua's face and he closes his eyes. Immediately thereafter, the song "Hero" begins to play, the close-up of Joshua's face on the large screen fades out and is replaced by a series of video clips of Joshua's life shown in chronological order on the large video screen onstage as the song plays. You can listen to the song  "Hero" by clicking on the button below. The action continues uninterrupted with Models 1-5 and the text below Model 5.)

As the intro, Verse 1 and Pre-chorus 1 of the song "Hero" plays, the video on the large screen continues to play uninterrupted and the following action takes place. The first video clip that plays as soon as the song "Hero" begins shows Lisa Wells giving birth to Joshua. As soon as Lisa gives birth, the nurse quickly cleans off Joshua and hands Lisa the newborn Joshua. Lisa smiles and cradles Joshua in her arms. Joshua's father Steve is standing beside Lisa in the operating room and smiles at his newborn son and kisses him on the forehead. Following this, the next series of video clips start to play and they are of Joshua's childhood. We see Joshua's baby dedication ceremony with his parents at their church, and clips of Joshua's childhood which includes but is not limited to clips of birthday and holiday celebrations, Joshua playing with his boyhood friend Daniel, and Joshua in church and at Sunday school at a young age. These video clips are happy and celebratory in nature. The next series video clips show Joshua's teen years and early adulthood which includes but is not limited to clips of him rebelling against his parents and the church, the beginning of his drug use, his musical development, his relationship with Darlene, gigging with his current band, his heroin use and his sexual promiscuity. The final series of video clips that play with the intro, Verse 1 and Pre-Chorus #1 of the song "Hero" are of action already seen in "The Unveiling." We see Joshua slam the front door as he leaves his home and looks at his parents for the last time, Gabriel walk in between Joshua and the record excutives backstage at "Crossroads," Joshua atop the Griffith Observatory witnessing the Rapture, Joshua driving on Sunset Blvd following the Rapture, Joshua arriving home and finding his parents are gone, Joshua coming back from the dead in his room and seeing Gabriel at the foot of his bed, and finally we see the close-up of Joshua's face with his eyes closed once again bringing us back to the present time. Joshua opens his eyes, the camera shot changes from the close-up of Joshua's face back to the shot of Joshua and Gabriel standing across from each other in Joshua's room. Right before the vocalist sings the final lyrics of Pre-Chorus #1, Joshua looks at Gabriel, smiles and says "I Believe!" Immediately thereafter, Gabriel's orange eyes light up brightly, he completely unfurls and extends his wings outward and looks upward as does Joshua. At this point, new video of Joshua's home begins to play on the screens on each side of the live stage as shown above in Models 1 and 2. The video of Joshua and Gabriel standing in Joshua's bedroom on the large screen continues playing uninterrupted as Chorus # 1 of the song "Hero" is performed live.

Chorus 1
I need a hero!
To save me now, I need a hero
(Save me now)
I need a hero!
To save my life, a hero will save me
(Just in time)

At the exact moment the vocalst starts singing Chorus #1 at about the 48 second mark of the song "Hero," a bright light from above enters Joshua's room, completely engulfs Joshua and Gabriel, enters Joshua's body and lights up the entire bedroom. As this action takes place inside Joshua's bedroom on the large screen onstage, the following action occurs in the new video on the screens on each side of the live stage at the same time and in sync with the video on the large screen. We see the sky above Joshua's home open up, a bright light shoots downward and enters Joshua's room shining down on Joshua and Gabriel as shown above in Models 3 and 4. The entire house inside and out lights up brightly and we see the profiles of Joshua and Gabriel lit up in the bedroom window as shown above in Models 3 and 4. As the action continues, the video on the the screens on each side of the live stage remains virtually unchanged. It shows the wide shot of the entire house being lit up by the light coming out of the sky and the lit up profiles of Joshua and Gabriel in the bedroom window. However, the action inside Joshua's room in the video on the large screen onstage continues. As soon as the light from above enters Joshua's body in the video on the large screen onstage, his whole body flexes, his drug-ravaged body miraculously fills out and he becomes a perfect physical specimen, the track marks on his arms from his heroin use disappear, his face fills out and the color returns to it, and the black circles around his eyes vanish. Joshua's physical transformation on the large screen onstage occurs as Chorus #1 of "Hero" is played live. The camera shot used during the action accompanying Chorus #1 on the large screen onstage alternates between a profile shot of Joshua and Gabriel and an overhead shot from above looking down at the two of them as they look upward. Joshua puts on his mother's cross necklace that he's still holding in his hand. It lights up brightly and rays of light shoot out from the diamond that's in the center of the cross. After the vocals in Chorus #1 end, the bright light from above stops shining down on Gabriel and Joshua in the bedroom, Gabriel retracts his wings and they both stop looking upward. At the same time, the bright light stops shining down on Joshua and Gabriel in the bedroom on the large video screen onstage, the bright light stops shining down on Joshua's house in the video on the screens on each side of the live stage as shown above in Models 1 and 2. Following this, the video on the screens on each side of the live stage quits playing but the action continues uninterrupted on the large video screen onstage. All the action just described takes place during Chorus #1. Joshua now has numerous superpowers and has become a superhero. Throughout the remaining action in "The Unveiling," we will see Joshua use all his superpowers. The video and action on the large screen onstage continues uninterrupted with Models 6-11 and the text below Model 11 as Verse 2 of the song "Hero" starts to play.

As the vocalist starts singing Verse 2  of the song "Hero," the video on the large screen onstage continues to play uninterrupted. Gabriel steps back from the large window towards the bed allowing Joshua a clear view of himself the mirror atop his dresser, Joshua steps forward so that his profile is in the center of the window as shown above in Model 5 and looks at himself in the mirror observing all the physical changes he just experienced as Gabriel smiles. Joshua shakes his head in disbelief and is amazed by the transformation. Joshua is looking at his arms and repeatedly clinching his fists observing his new found strength. As Verse 2, Pre-Chorus 2 and Chorus 2  of "Hero" are performed live, Joshua will turn and rotate 360 degrees looking at all the superhero posters on his walls starting with the Superman poster to the left of the bedroom window. When this sequence of action begins, Joshua is standing at the foot of his bed lined up with and facing the large window in his bedroom. Each time he looks at a poster, the camera follows his line of sight and focuses on that poster. Immediately thereafter, the image on the video screen which is Joshua in his bedroom instantaneously peels away and is instantaneously replaced by the setting seen in each superhero poster. Once this occurs, the poster comes to life, Joshua becomes part of the live action in the poster, the superhero shows his/her superpowers or abilities and interacts with Joshua. It's as if Joshua literally enters the poster himself. As soon as the action is over, the setting of the superhero poster instantaneously peels away and is replaced by Joshua's bedroom, Joshua is standing in his bedroom once again and the poster Joshua is looking at has changed. The superhero in the poster is now looking upward in reverence to God and will stay that way permanently. All the posters shown above in Models 6-11 show the superheroes looking upward following the action their involved in. The powers or abilities the superheroes in the posters have are the ones Joshua now possesses. Joshua starts by looking at the poster of Superman to the left of the large window, his bedroom instantaneously peels away and is replaced by the setting of modern day New York City. Joshua is now standing on the balcony of an apartment overlooking the streets of New York City. Superman flies by Joshua smiling and nodding at him to join him as he pursues two cars full of gang members who are driving recklessly and shooting at cops following them. Joshua is hesitant at first but does jump off the balconey and joins Superman flying next to him in the sky with a big grin on his face. As Superman approaches the gang member's cars, they fire numerous bullets at him but they bounce harmlessly off him falling to the ground. Superman lifts up both cars and flies away protecting the citizens of New York. At this point, the setting of New York is replaced by Joshua's bedroom, Joshua is standing in his room once again and Superman is now looking upward in the poster as shown above in Model 6. Superman exhibits superhuman strength, the ability to fly and is indestructible which are all powers Joshua possesses. Following this, Joshua turns his head and looks at the Batman poster that's on the south wall to the right of the large window. Immediately thereafter, Joshua's bedroom instantaneously peels away and is replaced by the setting of the Batcave as shown above in Model 7. Joshua is now standing next to Batman and the two of them converse briefly as Batman works with the sophisticated computer and communication equipment in the Batcave. As the action in the Batcave concludes, rays of light enter the Batcave, Batman backs away from the computer and communication equipment until he is standing in the rays of light, and he points and looks upward. At that exact moment, the Batcave instantaneously peels away and is replaced by Joshua's bedroom, Joshua is standing in his room once again, and Batman is looking and pointing upward in the poster as shown above in Model 7. Even though Batman doesn't have any superpowers per se, he is proficient in all disciplines of the martial arts and uses the most advanced high tech equipment and gadgetry to fight evil. Joshua is now an expert in all the martial arts and he and his childhood best friend Daniel will use the most advanced satellite and computer technologies and high tech gadgetry to combat evil during the Tribulation Period.

As the action continues, Joshua turns his body to the left counterclockwise and looks at the poster of Mystique on his closet door on the far right(east) side of the bedroom. However, rather than the room peeling away and Joshua finding himself inside the poster, Mystique actually leaves the poster and enters Joshua's bedroom. Mystique stands in front of Joshua and shapeshifts into his six year old twin sister Faith who was brutally raped and murdered in the back of a van by two lifelong criminals as Joshua was forced to watch. Immediately thereafter, Joshua begins to cry, smiles, drops to one knee and kisses Faith on the forehead. Faith hands Joshua a bracelet she always wore that says "Faith." Joshua takes the bracelet and looks over his shoulder at the photo of Faith and him taken just before she was murdered that's on his nightstand. The camera zooms in on the photo, we see Faith wearing the same bracelet she just gave to Joshua in the photo and she is also wearing the same clothes as in the photo. After this, Joshua turns back around looking at Faith once again, she turns around and walks back into the poster, drops down to one knee, waves goodbye to Joshua and looks upward. At that exact moment, Mystique shapeshifts back into herself and is looking upward as shown above in Model 8. Joshua has the ability to shapeshift into any person at any time, sound just like that person and know that person's life history instantly. Following this, Joshua turns counterclockwise until he is lined up with and looking directly at the Spiderman poster that's hung up above the headboard of his bed on the north wall of his bedroom which is the clear, see-through plexiglass partition. Immediately thereafter, Joshua's bedroom instantaneously peels away and is replaced by the setting of New York City once again. Joshua finds himself in the air high above a busy street in downtown New York City following Spiderman who is shooting webs from his hands at the buildings along the street allowing him to move down the street in the air. Joshua has a panicked look on his face because he's suspended in the air and thinks he's going to fall. However, one of his hands has webs extending from it which are attached to a building. Spiderman looks back at Joshua and motions for him to use the web making ability in his other hand so Joshua can swing in the air like himself and nods his head forward signaling for Joshua to follow him. Joshua looks at his hands, realizes he has the same ability as Spiderman, shoots webs from his hands and swings in the air like Spiderman, and the look of panic on Joshua's face turns into pure elation. Shortly thereafter, both of them land on a street surrounded by skyscrapers facing one another, Spiderman(Peter Parker) takes off his mask, says "remember with great power comes great responsibility," puts his mask back on, shoots webs upward and rises up from the street as shown above in Model 9. Keep in mind, we don't actually hear Spiderman say "remember with great power comes great responsibility" because the song "Alive" is playing. However, Spiderman says it slowly so the viewer can read his lips and there's also upcoming action in this act that let's the viewer know what Spiderman said to Joshua. Although the action in this sequence shows Joshua able to fly through the air via webs from his hands like Spiderman, he doesn't actually have this particular superpower. Joshua does have the ability to anticipate and see things before they happen like Spiderman. The main reason Spiderman was included in the action was to introduce the iconic phrase "remember with great power comes great responsibility" into "The Unveiling." At this point, the setting of New York is replaced by Joshua's bedroom, Joshua is standing in his room once again and Spiderman is now looking upward in the poster as shown above in Model 9.

As the song "Hero" and the video on the large screen onstage continue to play,
Joshua turns counterclockwise from the Spiderman poster so that he's facing the Captain America poster that's on the left(west) wall of his room to the right of his dresser mirror. Joshua looks at the Captain America poster and his bedroom instantaneously peels away and is replaced by a World War 2 battlefield with Captain America fighting German troops as shown above in Model 10. Joshua is now standing next to Captain America on the battlefield and the Captain hands Joshua his shield. Joshua throws the shield with great force like Captain America does and it takes out six German soldiers. After the shield hits the last German soldier, it flies back towards Captain America and Joshua, the Captain catches the shield in flight, and holds it in front of himself deflecting bullets as shown above in Model 10.  Captain America is the superhero known as the original protector of America and Joshua plays a similar role as the final protector of America. Captain America is known as "The First Avenger" and similarly Joshua is known as "The Final Avenger." Both use their superhuman strength and unparalled physical attributes to fight evil. At this point, the World War 2 battlefield is replaced by Joshua's bedroom, Joshua is standing in his bedroom once again and Captain America is now looking upward in the poster as shown above in Model 10.  Following this, Joshua moves his head to the left looking at the blank area of the left(west) wall to the left of his dresser mirror. Immediately thereafter, his bedroom instantaneously peels away and is replaced by a scene of Joshua as "Holy Soldier" standing on the hills overlooking the Sea of Galille and it's sunny and clear outside. Joshua watches the "Holy Soldier"(himself) summon clouds, lightning and thunder. After this, the scene at the Sea of Galilee is replaced by Joshua's bedroom, Joshua is standing in his bedroom once again and he's looking at a poster of the "Holy Soldier" standing atop the hills overlooking the Sea Of Galilee as shown above in Model 11 that appears in the previously empty area of the left(west) wall to the left of the dresser mirror. Like the other superhero posters in the bedroom, "Holy Soldier" is looking upward when the action is over. Joshua now has the power to control and alter environmental phenomena as just demonstrated. Before Chorus 2 ends, a blinding light shines through Joshua's bedroom window, he sees it out of the corner of his eye and turns counterclockwise until he is looking directly at his bedroom window and the light shining through it. Joshua has now turned and rotated 360 degrees counterclockwise and looked at all the superhero posters in his bedroom. The light shining through the window is how God chooses to reveal himself to Joshua. As Chorus 2 ends, the bedroom begins to peel away instantaneously once again. The video on the large screen onstage and the song "Hero" continues uninterrupted with Models 12-21 and the text below Model 21 as God speaks to Joshua atop Mt. Zion. Joshua has additional powers to those mentioned above. He can heal the sick and raise the dead, has a supernatural knowledge of the Bible, can see and summon the invisible spiritual world(ie.angels) and can speak, read and write in every language of the world fluently. Joshua doesn't just have a single supernatural power or ability but has multiple powers and is a hybrid of several superheroes, "The Ultimate Superhero." The audience won't know what supernatural powers Joshua has until they are revealed in future action in "The Unveiling."

At the exact moment the vocalist begins singing the hook of the song "Hero," the bedroom has instantaneously peeled away and Joshua finds himself standing atop Mt. Zion in the presence of God as shown above in Model 12. As the video continues uninterrupted and the hook of the song "Hero" plays, the following action takes place. Christ's pierced hand lowers the Symbols's logo into the center of the light and a dove flies towards the logo as shown above in Model 13. As this occurs, Joshua's smiles and shakes his head in disbelief. Joshua is in the presence of all three persons of the Trinity on Mt. Zion; the Father(the light), the Son(the pierced hand), and the Holy Spirit(the dove). We see the action that takes place on Mt. Zion from two different camera shots. We alternately see a wide shot from behind Joshua which is shown above in Models 12-21 and a camera shot looking directly at the front of Joshua on top of Mt. Zion so we can see him talking to God and his reaction to what he observes. Throughout the action on Mt. Zion, we see Joshua nodding his head up and down as he listens to God and we see him speaking to the Lord. However, we don't hear the words God or Joshua speak because the song "Hero" is playing. Joshua's face is lit up brightly by the light, he squints continously and must periodically look away from the light because it's to intense to stare at continually. At this point, Christ's pierced hand starts moving upward until his hand and the Symbols's logo are no longer visible and the dove flies away.  Following this, the hands of God emerge from within the light holding a gold Treban 5 string bass as shown above in Model 14. The hands continue to move forward until the the bass is directly in front of Joshua as shown above in Model 15. After this, the camera shot zooms in for a close-up of the bass in God's hands and we see that the area around the outside border of the entire bass is lit up and light radiates from the bass. At this point, the inlays on the fretboard begin to light up moving from the bottom of the fretboard near the body of the bass upward to the top of the fretboard near the headstock of the guitar. There are 12 inlays on the fretboard and each one is made up of one of the following precious stones; diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, beryl, turquoise, topaz, jacinth, onyx, jasper, agate and amethyst. The 12 different precious stones represent the 12 Tribes of Israel. The precious stone inlays on the fretboard of the guitar are not visible in the models above. After the last inlay lights up near the headstock of the bass, Joshua reaches out and takes the bass out of God's hands. At the exact moment he grabs the bass, the light surrounding and radiating from the bass literally enters Joshua's body through his hand and his entire body convulses as if jolted by electricity. As the light visibly travels through his entire body, the fabric of a trenchcoat appears on Joshua in the areas the light travels over. By the time the light has traveled through Joshua's entire body, he is wearing a trenchcoat with the "Holy Soldier" icon on the back of it as shown above in Model 16 and a new belt with a buckle bearing "The Final Avenger" symbol on it which you'll see in later action in this act. The trenchcoat is covered with crosses, doves, ten commandment tablets and Christian fish symbols that are imprinted into the fabric of the coat. These are the four Christian symbols from the Symbols's logo. The belt also has the four symbols from the logo imprinted on it. However, the symbols on the trenchcoat and the belt aren't visible in the models above. The outfit Joshua is now wearing as shown above in Model 16 which includes a tight fitting black shirt, black leather pants, black Harley Davidson boots, the trenchcoat, "The Final Avenger" belt and his mother's cross necklace is his superhero outfit. The bass, trenchcoat and belt have miraculous powers that will be seen as the action in "The Unveiling" unfolds. As the hook comes to an end, God's hands start moving away from Joshua as shown above in Model 17 and eventually disappear back into the light as shown above in Model 18.

Right before the vocalist starts singing Chorus 3,
Joshua slings the guitar over his shoulder as shown above in Model 19. As soon as Chorus 3 begins, a series of video images starts to play within the light above Mt. Zion and will do so until the song "Hero"ends. These images are visions of the future that God reveals to Joshua. The first set of video images shows key end time events and prophecies. An example of one of these video images is shown above in Model 20. The image within the light is the new Jewish temple that will be built in Jerusalem. The next set of images shown on Mt. Zion are details about Joshua's new band Symbols and the nationwide underground. An example of one of these images is shown above in Model 21. This image is the artwork forSymbols's debut 3 CD box set  which is simply entitled the roman numeral "III" and it's also Holy Soldier's superhero symbol. This is the artwork that opens this act at the top of this page. When the song "Hero" ends, the visions on Mt. Zion have concluded. Shortly thereafter, the scene at Mt. Zion peels away instantaneously, is replaced by Joshua's bedroom and he's standing in his room once again. Even though the song "Hero" ends, the video on the large video screen onstage continues to play uninterrupted. In the video, Joshua turns away from the window, is facing Gabriel once again and both of their profiles can be seen in Joshua's bedroom window as before and he begins talking to Gabriel. Click on the play button below to see the brief "Mt. Zion" Trailer. Keep in mind, the music accompanying the full video would actually be the song "Hero" not the music heard with this trailer and the actual video would be longer and much more detailed.

The "Mt. Zion" Trailer.

Joshua:  I can't believe that just happened, (Joshua laughs nervously) I can't believe any of this is happening. But why me? I'm the last person He shoulda chosen.

Gabriel:  No Joshua, He's been preparing you for this very moment your entire life. You are  "Holy Soldier" and have been given supernatural powers to establish your ministry, to display the awesome power of God and proclaim His glory, to fight evil and battle the spiritual forces of wickedness, and to be a symbol of hope and a beacon of light in man's darkest hour. (At this point, the video of Spiderman(Peter Parker) telling Joshua "remember with great power comes great responsibility" that was seen earlier begins playing superimposed on the video of Gabriel and Joshua on the large video screen onstage. When Gabriel says "remember" from this quote, it's in unison with Peter from the earlier video). But remember... (As the remainder of this sentence is spoken, Gabriel's voice fades out and we only hear Peter's voice.)

Peter Parker: "But Remember"-(Peter says "But remember" in unison with Gabriel and then finishes the quote by himself) with great power comes great responsibility."-(As soon as Peter finishes saying this sentence, the earlier video of Peter and Joshua fades out and Gabriel continues to speak without missing a beat as if he was heard saying the entire quote.)

Gabriel:  Don't misuse these powers or they'll be taken from you.-(Joshua nods in agreement) But my work here is finished for now and I must go.

Joshua:  You can't split yet. (Shaking his head , shrugging his shoulders and panicking) I have no idea what to do.

Gabriel:  (Smiling) Have faith Joshua, for the Spirit will lead and show you the way. In the days ahead, you will see and do things you never thought possible. I will look over you and from time to time I shall return. (Gabriel places his hands on Joshua's shoulder) Grace and peace to you Joshua Wells until we meet again.-(At this point, Gabriel leaves the room passing through the bedroom window and Joshua watches Gabriel fly into the night sky as shown below in Model 22. Shortly thereafter, Joshua sees a limousine pull into the driveway as shown below in Model 22. A door opens up, Darlene steps out of the limo, and seeing Joshua in the window she yells out his name. It's now about 1:30 A.M. Nov.1, 2018.)

Model 22-Joshua looking out His bedroom window and seeing limo pulling up.

Darlene:  Joshua!

Joshua:  (Upon seeing Darlene, Joshua tosses the gold Les Paul on his bed, runs out of his room and down the stairs to the garage, hits a button to open the far left garage door, meets Darlene at the front of the garage, and the two of them embrace tightly. Darlene has tears in her eyes) Thank God you're o.k. babe. How bout the baby?

Darlene:  (Very emotional) We're fine but I was so worried about you. It's so bad out there Joshua, it's happening just like your mom and dad said it would. (They separate and stand in front of one another) They're gone aren't they?

Joshua:  (Nodding) Yeah babe, what about your parents?

Darlene:  They're okay-(Darlene pauses, takes a good look at Joshua and runs her hands over Joshua's chest, arms and stomach) There's something different about you. The track marks are gone, you put on weight, filled out, (Darlene starts touching his face) the dark circles are gone and your color's back. What happened?-( By this time, Joshua's band has gathered around Darlene and Joshua.)

Gibson:  ("Gibson" is Joshua's lead guitarist. His entire name is Jimmy Page Gibson and he goes by his last name "Gibson"  or "Gibby") She's right you look incredible, (Shaking his head in disbelief) but how's that possible? I saw you two hours ago and ya looked a mess man, all strung out.

Joshua:  It's great to see ya guys, that you're okay.

Gibson:  Same here bro.-(The rest of the band voices similar sentiment.)

Joshua: (To everyone) Are your people all right?

Gibson:  (Everyone nods yes and Gibson speaks) Yeah, everyone's cool.

Joshua:  Good, good...

DW:  ("DW" is Joshua's drummer. His full name is Drew Winston Sweet but he goes by the initials of his first and middle name and plays a DW drumkit.) It's a nightmare out there man.

Joshua: I know, and it's gonna get a lot worse.-(Joshua pauses and then continues speaking) Now about me, come over here for a second.-(Joshua walks over to the limo and Darlene and the band follow him. Joshua turns his face away from them, bends down, grabs the front bumper with one hand and pauses with a look of uncertainty on his face. Following this, he looks upward as if asking for help, takes a deep breath and exhales, and lifts the front end of the limo completely off the ground and over his head with one arm. Immediately thereafter, Joshua turns around and looks at Darlene and the band. They can't believe what they're seeing and Joshua has the same shocked look on his face. He sets the limo back down on the ground, smiles at them and laughs as he speaks) I can't believe I just did that.

DW:  No way! That's impossible.-(As DW speaks, Joshua's bassist Robert tries to lift up the front end of the limo and of course he can't do it. Robert is very analytical, quiet and reserved, and is affectionately known by the band and friends as "Silent Bob.")

Joshua:  (Motioning upstairs) Come on, let's go up upstairs and I'll tell ya all about it.-(As they walk into the garage and up the stairs to his room, Joshua continues to talk) I had to show ya that first so you don't think I'm totally nuts when I tell ya the rest. (Joshua pauses) Hey, where's Les?

Gibson:  Don't know. He was still talking to those dudes from the record company when we left the club and we tried calling him a bunch of times but just got his voice mail.

Joshua:  (With a concerned look) I hope he's all right, keep trying his number.-(Gibson nods yes. By this time, they have reached Joshua's room and everyone enters the room. Joshua puts the bloody syringe that's still on his bed on the headboard of his bed and props the gold Treban bass that's also on the bed up against the right side of the bed within his reach. Joshua and Darlene sit down next to each other on the end of the bed facing the bedroom window. The band sits down to the left and right of the bedroom window under the posters of Superman and Batman with their backs against the south wall facing Joshua and Darlene. Joshua has a clear unobstructed pathway to the bedroom window which is directly in front of him. Gibson stares at the gold bass.)

Gibson:  That's sweet! When'd ya get that?

DW:  Yeah, (Pointing at the trenchcoat on Joshua) and what about that dope trenchcoat you're wearing?

Joshua:  I'm gonna tell ya the story right now. (Joshua is very animated and passionate as he recounts the night's events. The band and Darlene are riveted on Joshua as he speaks) After the gig last night, I saw the angel Gabriel backstage but no one else could see him. He led me up to the Griffith Observatory to watch the Rapture, and when I came home and found out that my mom and dad were gone I completely lost it and trashed my room. I was done man and tried to kill myself with a fix big enough to put an elephant down. I overdosed, died, saw heaven and hell and came back from the dead. When I came back, Gabriel was standing over me and told me he was sent here to bring me a message from God, that I would lead the church and underground in these final days and that my music would give birth to a worldwide revival. But he told me that none of this would happen unless I was born again. After everything I saw tonight and knew growing up, I couldn't deny the truth any longer and gave my life to Christ. Right after that, a bright light from above shined down on me and Gabriel and actually entered my body. At that exact moment, (Joshua spreads his arms out and looks down at himself as he continues speaking) my whole body changed into what you see now and that's when I received superhuman powers. I've never felt so alive and can't believe I wasted all those years growing up when I could have felt like this all along.

Gibson: (Shaking his head and blown away) Unreal.-(Darlene and the band nod in agreement and voice similar sentiments.)

Joshua: Wait till ya hear the rest. (Gibson interrupts Joshua.)

Gibson:  Just a sec, we got something to tell ya first.-(Darlene and the band all look at one another and smile, and Joshua notices this.)

Joshua: (Intrigued) Go for it.

Gibson:  Last night when we split from the club, we were cruising down Sunset in the limo and me and DW were hanging out the sun roof drinking and acting like fools, and we stopped at a light. We saw a bus full of teenagers and just like that(Gibson snaps his fingers) the teenagers and bus driver disappeared into thin air but the bus kept going running the red light and slamming into a gasoline tanker. Ya shoulda seen the explosion bro. It lit up the entire intersection and flames shot up 50 feet into the air. Darlene and Robert were inside the limo and saw the whole thing too. The accident was horrible and there must have been about 15 cars completely engulfed in flames and we tried to help but the fire was too hot. We saw people burning alive in their cars and could do nothing(Gibson pauses shaking his head reflecting on what they saw) but there were no bodies in that bus. We looked at each other and knew things would never be the same. On our way over here, we talked about all the times your mom told us about that Rapture stuff when we hung out at your pad, how all Christians dead and alive would be taken into heaven. We knew exactly what was happening. What else could explain everything?-(As soon as Gibson begins saying the text above, video starts playing on the screens on each side of the live stage. The large video screen onstage continues to show the current action with Joshua, Darlene and the band in Joshua's bedroom and we see Gibson telling Joshua about the accident that occurred on Sunset Blvd. On each of the two screens on the sides of the live stage,  we have a split screen and see the action described above occur as Gibson explains it to Joshua. On one half of the screen, we see the action form DW and Gibson's vantage point hanging out the sun roof of the limo and on the other half we see it from Darlene and Robert's vantage point inside the limo. On one half of the screen, the video shows the limo driving down Sunset with Gibson and DW hanging out the sun roof, the bus with the teenagers, the bus driver and the teenagers disappearing, the accident between the bus and tanker, and Gibson and DW ducking when the explosion occurs. At the same time on the other half of the screen, the video shows Robert and Darlene sitting inside the limo traveling on Sunset Blvd., the limo driver disappearing, the limo hitting the car in front of it, and the accident and explosion from Robert's and Darlene's vantage point looking out the front windshield of the limo. Following this, Gibson and DW get back into the limo, the split screen shots on the video screens on each side of the live stage switches back to a full screen and the screens show Darlene and the band in the limo looking at one another stunned. At this point, on the screens on each side of the live stage, we see the same exact video sequence we saw earlier in the "Hallow's Eve" segment which shows Joshua pulling alongside the limo and making a right turn at the intersection where the accident occurred. As before, we see the backsides of a group of people standing in the street looking at the accident. However, unlike the earlier video sequence in "Hallow's Eve," this video segment also shows a front view shot of the group of people looking at the accident and we see that Darlene and Joshua's band are amongst the group of onlookers. They look at one another in disbelief as they look at the carnage and Darlene is crying. As the video continues to play on the screens on each side of the stage, we see Darlene and the band talking with one another as Gibson drives the limo en route to Joshua's house. When Gibson finishes the text above, he pauses and Darlene starts to talk in the video in Joshua’s room on the large video screen onstage as the video on the other screens continues to play uninterrupted.)

Darlene:  I asked Gibby to pull over, we prayed the sinner's prayer together just like your mom always talked to us about and Christ is now our Lord and Savior too.-(As the video on the large screen onstage shows the current action with Darlene speaking in Joshua's room, the other screens on each side of the live stage show the action Darlene is describing in the dialogue above. We see Darlene motioning for Gibson to pull over and stop the limo and he does so. Following this, the video shows Darlene and the band praying in the limo. After Darlene finishes the dialogue above, the video on the screens on each side of the live stage shows the limo turning on to Hope Street and pulling into Joshua's driveway. At this point, the video on the screens on each side of the live stage fades out and the screens go blank. However, the action continues uninterrupted on the large video screen onstage as Joshua, Darlene and the band continue talking in Joshua's room.)

Gibson:  So ya see bro you're not the only one that was saved tonight.

Joshua:  Seriously, all of you? (Joshua looks at everyone who nod yes and smile) That's awesome!-(At this point, the camera shot tightens so that we only see Joshua and Darlene sitting next to one another on the bed. Joshua looks at Darlene and gets lost in her eyes. Darlene is radiant and looks angelic. Joshua moves his hand over her pregnant belly and speaks to her.)  I'm so sorry, (Joshua pauses and shakes his head back and forth) never again.

Darlene:  (She smiles in response to Joshua, her eyes begin to water and tears fall from her eyes) I believe you this time Joshua.-(Joshua gazes into her eyes, wipes the tears from her eyes and then kisses her on the lips. Following this, they look passionately into one another's eyes for a few seconds, the camera shot widens, and Joshua looks at his band and speaks.)

Joshua:  Now let me tell ya about the rest of the night.-(Pointing at the superhero posters on the walls) Notice anything different about the posters?-(Everyone looks at the posters for a few seconds trying to figure out what's different about them.)

DW:  (Shrugging his shoulders unimpressed) Ya got some new ones.

Joshua:  (Chuckling) Nah man, they're the same ones. Right after the light stopped shining down on me and Gabriel, (As Joshua says the remainder of this sentence, he looks and points at the posters on the walls in the same order he saw them come to life in the earlier video during the song "Hero") I looked at those posters one after another and they came to life. I met the Man of Steel and flew next to him, worked with Batman in the Batcave, saw my sister Faith again and swung across New York City with Spidy. It's like I literally entered the posters, every kid's dream. After the action was over, they looked upward and turned back into posters. (Joshua looks and points at the Captain American poster) After I joined the Captain on the battlefield and killed me some nazis, (Joshua points to the "Holy Soldier" poster that's to the left of the dresser mirror) I was taken to the hills overlooking the Sea of Galilee and when I came back that poster of me appeared on the wall.

Gibson:  (Everyone is blown away) Are you kiddin me?-(Joshua smiles, Gibson shakes his head in amazement. and looks at the "Holy Soldier" and other superhero posters) I take it you're "Holy Soldier." (Joshua nods yes) Look at you up there with the legends, (Gibson turns his attention to Joshua) but they're just fictional characters Josh. You're like a real superhero.

Joshua:  Crazy huh?

Gibson: (Nodding yes) Yeah, absolutely insane.

DW: (Looking and pointing at the "Holy Soldier" poster) Hey, what's that on the back of the trenchcoat?

Joshua:  The "Holy Soldier" icon.

DW:  Kinda like Superman's "S" symbol or Batman's bat symbol.

Joshua:  Exactly.

Gibson:  O.K., but what is it, what's it mean?

Joshua: (Joshua stands up, takes off his trenchcoat, flips it over so the back of the coat is facing the band and sits back down) The icon is a symbol of spiritual warfare. (Joshua touches the head of the icon on the coat) This is the me, "Holy Soldier" bowing my head in prayer preparing for battle and these are the weapons I will use to fight evil, (Joshua touches the sword of the icon on the coat) "The Sword of the Spirit" which is the word of God and (Touching the word "Symbols" of the icon on the coat) and our new band "Symbols."-(Following this, Joshua lays the trenchcoat on the bed behind him and Gibson points at his belt buckle.)

The "Holy Soldier" Icon

"The Final Avenger" belt buckle.

Gibson:   What about the belt buckle?

Joshua:  (Looking down at the buckle) The buckle has the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet on it, (Joshua touches the top of the Alpha letter on the buckle) the Alpha and (Joshua touches the Omega letter on the buckle) the Omega. Christ is known as "The Alpha and the Omega" so the letters are a symbol for Him. But the letters are also a symbol for the "Holy Soldier." The Alpha or "A"  stands for the word "Avenger" and the Omega or "O" which is the final letter of the Greek alphabet stands for the word "Final" and when combined the letters make up Holy Soldier's other name, "The Final Avenger." (Smiling) But there's more. The Alpha or "A" can also stand for the word "Apostle" and the Omega or "O" for the word "Final" once again, and when combined they make up yet another name for "Holy Soldier," "The Final Apostle." Pretty cool huh.

DW: That's sic but ya still haven't told us where you got the bass and coat from.

Joshua:  I'm not finished yet. Check this out. (At this point, Joshua tells the band and Darlene what happened on Mt. Zion, and details of the video seen during the hook, Chorus 3 and the outro of the song "Hero" are explained. You can refer to Models 12-21 once again as Joshua tells them about his experience on Mt. Zion. Joshua is very animated as he describes the events that took place) After the "Holy Soldier" poster appeared on the wall, I was supernaturally transported to the top of Mt. Zion in heaven and God revealed Himself to me in the form of a bright light above the mountain (Model 12 above.) I heard a choir of angels singing and Christ's hand lowered the Symbols's logo into the middle of the light.-(Model 13 above.) I get chills just thinking about it.-(Joshua holds his arms out for them to see, and goosebumps cover his arms and neck.) Then God's hands came out of the light holding that gold bass(Model 14 above. Joshua looks over at the gold bass that's propped up against the right side of his bed) and He told me to take the bass.-(Joshua grabs a hold of the bass and places it between his legs with the front facing his band members.) The moment I touched it something that felt like a jolt of electricity rushed through my entire body and this coat and belt appeared on me out of nowhere(Model 16 above.) At the same time, I heard the most amazing new music in my head, it blows away anything we've ever written or heard. I have so much new music ready to go. (Looking down at the gold bass, Joshua points to different areas of the bass as he describes details about it.) This baby's one of a kind. Look at the inlays on the fretboard. There's 12 of them and each one is made up of a different precious stone, and the 12 stones represent the 12 tribes of Israel. There's diamonds, emeralds, rubies and other precious stones. The body's overlaid in 24 kt. gold and the knobs are made up of diamonds from Mt. Zion itself. After He gave me the bass, I was shown the future through a series of visions within the light. I saw the identities of the Antichrist and False Prophet, the new Temple in Jerusalem(Model 20 above), the Two Witnesses, and other end time events and prophecies. He also showed me future details about the nationwide Christian underground and our new band Symbols. I saw underground shelters across the country, the band's new look and image, artwork of the band(Model 21 above), details about our debut CD, marketing strategies for the band's merchandise, and details and plans about our world tour. You should see the stage and show. I've never seen anything like it. The money Symbols earns will be used to finance the nationwide underground movement. I have so much more to tell ya guys but that can wait for now.-(Once again everyone is blown away by what Joshua is telling them.)

Robert:  (Skeptical) You realize it'll take nothing short of an act of God to pull this off?

Joshua:  And do you realize we are an act of God?-(Robert smiles at Joshua and nods his head acknowledging Joshua's clever response to his question and Joshua smiles back at him. At this point, Joshua sees Gibson shaking his head back and forth) What's wrong Gibby?

Gibson:   I can't get my head wrapped around this whole "Holy Soldier" thing.

Joshua:  (Smiling) The truth is there's a superhero in all of us, a supernatural power inside that transforms all of us into Holy Soldiers called upon to fight evil in the supernatural realm. (Before Joshua continues speaking, he gets up, walks over to his bedroom window and looks outside into the sky. At this point, the camera shot shows the action from Joshua's vantage point looking out the window into the sky. Joshua sees thousands of angels both good and evil engaged in spiritual warfare and he shakes his head in amazement. Joshua continues speaking as he looks out the window) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. There's a storm on the horizon and a great tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will is upon us. (Joshua backs away from the window towards the bed so that he can see his band once again) Tonight was just a preview of the death and destruction that lies ahead. The seals will be broken, the trumpets will sound and the bowls will overflow with the wrath of God. The gates of hell have been opened and the battle for the soul of mankind begins.-(As Joshua says the last sentence from the dialogue above, he grabs a remote that's laying on the end of the bed, points it at a flat screen television mounted on the south wall above his bedroom window and turns on the T.V.. The band stands up and moves away from the south wall so they can see the television and everyone starts watching an UNN newscast. At this point, the camera zooms in on the television screen in Joshua's room until it's the only image on the large video screen onstage and we watch the same newscast Joshua, Darlene and the band are watching on the television. Dawn Rivers is the anchor on the television in the UNN newsroom.)

Dawn:  We will be going live via satelitte to Vatican City momentarily where Dr. Christopher Gold and Dr. Jonathan Silver will address the world regarding tonight's tragic events. Here's the very latest. News reports from around the world continue to pour in to UNN and we now have a clearer picture of the extent of the devastation wrought by this morning's disaster. Although this tragedy has wrecked havoc globally, it seems some regions escaped the full wrath of this calamity while others were completely devastated by it. Reports from our foreign correspondents in Europe, India, China, Japan, North Korea and the Middle East indicate that the death and destruction in these countries is minimal compared to that of harder hit areas in South Korea, Africa, parts of Mexico, and South and Central America. However, nothing rivals the holocaust that has taken place here in the United States and brought this superpower to its knees. Conservative estimates put the number of people dead or missing at 30 million including several top government officials and there are countless others seriously injured. However, there is one bright spot admist all the darkness. Following last night's events, Dr. Gold launched a worldwide humanitarian relief effort known as Operation Rescue. In a joint statement just released by top officials of the International Red Cross, the United Nations and FEMA, Operation Rescue is being hailed as a modern day miracle, the largest and most successful such plan ever implemented. Most of us knew Dr. Gold was a rising star on the world scene but the true extent of his power, influence and presence around the world had not been completely revealed until now.-(Dawn touches her earpiece and pauses momentarily) I've just been notified we are now going live to Vatican City.-(At this point, the video on the large video screen onstage fades to black and the next act in the musical which is "Man of the Hour" begins. The stage and auditorium are transformed into St. Peter's Square and Basilica for this act. Click on the "next" button below to go to the act "Man of the Hour.")
